The surefire way to turn your discards, and someone else’s sheepish curiosity, into treasures and pleasures is to put a sign on it–such a noble gesture.
I stumbled on your blog a while back and I keep checking back in to see the amazing things that you find. I would love to know more about how you gather stuff, what kind of dumpsters, what stores are good, do you have any guidelines you follow, etc. I was also wondering if you ever get in trouble for doing it. I work at a craft store and I have to throw out tons of great stuff but I have to destroy it so that dumpster divers don’t get it and I am supposed to run people off of I see anyone trying to get stuff out of our garbage. (all of which goes against everything that I believe in, I don’t think I will be at this job long) It made me think about how other people do it.
Keep up the blogging! Your photos and posts are inspiring!
